CYPHER SOFTWARE LICENCE AGREEMENT

This agreement is between you and Nem088 ("we", "us"), the owner of Cypher.
It covers the Cypher software, its documentation and any updates we provide
(together, "the Software"). By installing, copying or using the Software, or by
choosing "I agree" when Cypher first opens, you accept this agreement. If you do
not accept it, do not install or use the Software.

1. LICENCE

   We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to
   install and use the Software, for personal or internal business purposes, on
   devices that you own or control. The Software is licensed to you, not sold.

2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

   Except where the law expressly allows it despite this agreement, you may not:

   a. copy the Software, other than installing it on your own devices and
      making backups for your own use;
   b. distribute, publish, share, sell, resell, rent, lease, lend or
      sublicense the Software, or make it available for download, to anyone;
   c. modify, adapt, translate or create derivative works of the Software;
   d. reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise try to derive the
      source code, structure or algorithms of the Software;
   e. remove, change or obscure any copyright, trademark or other notice in
      the Software;
   f. bypass, disable or interfere with any security or licence feature of
      the Software; or
   g. use the Software to build a competing product.

   People may get the Software only from us, at https://lowki.xyz/cypher.

3. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS

   The Software includes open-source components made by others. They are
   listed, with their licences, in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt, which comes with
   the Software. Each of those components is licensed to you under its own
   licence, not under this agreement, and nothing in this agreement limits the
   rights that those licences give you.

4. OWNERSHIP

   We own the Software and all intellectual property rights in it, including
   its code, design, name and logo. You receive no rights other than those
   stated in section 1.

5. YOUR DATA

   The Software runs on your device. It does not send your files, passwords,
   keys or any information about you to us or to anyone else, and it collects
   no usage data.

6. PASSWORDS AND KEYS

   Files protected with the Software can be opened only with the password or
   keys used to protect them. We cannot recover a lost password or key, and we
   have no access to anything you protect.

   The "Advanced" tools are for learning and must not be relied on to protect
   real information.

7. NO WARRANTY

   The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of
   any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability,
   fitness for a particular purpose, security and non-infringement. We do not
   warrant that the Software is free of errors or vulnerabilities, or that it
   will protect any information against every attack.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

   To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect,
   incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of
   data, information, profits or revenue, arising out of or relating to the
   Software or this agreement, however caused, even if we were told such
   damage was possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the
   Software is limited to the amount you paid us for it, if anything.

   Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions or limits, in which case
   they apply only as far as the law allows.

9. ENCRYPTION AND EXPORT

   The Software contains strong encryption. You are responsible for complying
   with the laws that apply to you on the import, export and use of encryption
   software.

10. TERMINATION

   This licence ends automatically if you break any of its terms. When it
   ends, you must stop using the Software and delete every copy. Sections 2
   to 11 continue to apply after it ends.

11. GENERAL

   If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the rest continues
   in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. This is the
   entire agreement between you and us about the Software. We may publish a
   new version of this agreement with a future version of the Software; the
   version that comes with the copy you use is the one that applies to it.
